In MemoriamJim Worth
This site is dedicated to the memory of my old NPBHS Dance Band buddy, Jim Worth who passed away several years ago.
It is also a tribute to Neil "Woody" Woodward who played half back in many to the Pridham rugby teams I was in and was a great mate to many of us. Trevor Nalder, music master extrordinaire who recognised I had some talent wielding a pair of drum sticks and who also managed to get the entire school singing in three part harmony during assembly. John 'Pill" Hammond, a friend from Moyes House who shared my love of photography and the use of the school darkroom. He too died tragically young. In MemoriamTim "Smog" Carey-Smith
Dr. Tim Carey-Smith NZOM who passed away mid 2012. My good Pridham friend and surfing companion from NPBHS days.
Tim was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in recognition of his work in palliative care, including the inception of the Otago hospice. |
Where Are They Now?
Old Boys in the MediaNgatai Rauputu (left) was featured in the Te Awamutu Chronicle in 2007.
He was St John station manager at Te Kuiti at the time of this photograph and has since retired. I remember him best as a very talented guitarist in our NPBHS band in the 1960's. He was caring then and clearly is still. |
